PERMAIR protection

On its harnesses with removable protection, NEO benefits from a partnership with Skywalk to use PERMAIR technology.

The thickness of the Permair protector is 22 cm, which effectively ensures your safety regardless of atmospheric pressure variations during your flight.

The Permair achieved 38,8 g in the EN test.
 Even when inflated to 60 %, the shock absorption remains effective. The last Permair protector generation has a practical inflate/deflate check valve that makes the filling of your protector significantly easier. If you don’t need to compress it in a very tight rucksack, you can leave it inflated.

INFLATING MODES

Permair 2.0 Protectors can also be inflated in several ways. In addition to the previously common variant with the inflation bag and compression function, you now have the option to fill your protector in a minimalist way via the mouthpiece. The mouthpiece includes a moisture filter to minimize the introduction of moisture and is included in the permair set scope of delivery.

FOR THE STRING RANGE

The NEO STRING PERMAIR inflatable removable protection system is compatible with NEO’s String range: String 3.0 and Stringpack 2.0.

We chose the inflatable option for this minimalist harness range because the classic removable airbag no longer meets our safety standards compared to new technologies such as Koroyd or Permair.

The Permair technology by Skywalk will be used
for removable protections on ABS leg-strap type harnesses. For classic ABS and bucket seat harnesses, the Koroyd technology is more suitable.

The NEO STRING PERMAIR is a one-size-fits-all product that adapts to all sizes.
