About the EONA 4

The EONA 4 is both the ideal first glider for beginner paragliding pilots and an ideal tool for the instructor who accompanies them.

Optimized inflation, uniform glider rise and solid structure… Particular attention has been paid to the structure of the glider to maximize the level of passive safety and make learning as accessible as possible.

Thanks to the R&D efforts of our team of designers, the EONA4 benefits from innovations borrowed from high-performance glider design methods, resulting in a glider School is solid, reassuring and fun to fly.

Whether adding winglets or redesigning its ribs, the EONA4 sees its internal structure and lap completely reworked, offering the beginner pilot an intuitive and forgiving glider. The pilot will feel confident while the instructor will have no trouble anticipating the glider’s behavior in all aerological conditions.

Innovative structure

Whether in terms of performance, riding comfort or even paraglider maintenance, the new internal structure of the EONA 4 makes everyday life easier for the pilot.

The internal structure refers to the tissues located inside the cells of the paraglider and that allow a good aerodynamic profile to be maintained. This is the “skeleton” of your paragliding.

Trimmings are made on the inner ribs. The cutouts, made with a laser, serve to reduce the weight of the glider. A lighter glider inflates more easily and has less inertia in its movements in flight. Thanks to these features, the EONA 4 is easy to handle and anticipate, both for the beginner pilot and for the instructor accompanying them.

A stripe has been added to the back of the aerodynamic profile, along its entire length. Its objective is to homogenize the behavior of the paraglider in its entirety. This feature of the internal structure helps to limit the deformation of the paraglider and ensures consistency between the feathers and the center of the airfoil. The handling of the EONA 4 is quick and obvious to the neo-practitioner.

Finally, the wingtips have been widened to increase their strength in flight, resulting in feathers that are much more resistant to closure. This design element ensures a high level of passive safety in all aerological conditions.
